The program will feature Congressman J.D. Hayworth (AZ - 6th District), who will give a legislative update, including the status of reauthorization of the federal transportation law that provides states with funds for transportation programs and the rules by which to spend those funds. We anticipate a large turnout for this meeting, so please reserve early, as we may not be able to accommodate walk-ins ... When: Thursday, November 7, 2002 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM Lunch will be served - vegetarian selection available upon request at time of registration. Where: University Club at 39 E. Annual Holiday Luncheon & Charity Silent Auction Each December, our WTS Chapter holds a Holiday Luncheon and Silent Auction to raise funds for worthy charitable causes. This year, the auction will be held at our regular monthly meeting on Friday, December 13, at the Phoenix Country Club from 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM. We will be raising money for two important causes: The Sunshine Acres Children's Home and the WTS Metropolitan Phoenix Chapter Scholarship Program.
